It is nice to be around others but I am always so happy to get back home and do my own thing...and not have to engage in chatter with others. :-) The exception is my family...and you!!The Kingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01169887458860668529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983812566505409103.post-41361794974850411222015-09-11T07:38:53.130-07:002015-09-11T07:38:53.130-07:00Donna- yep. that's me. I am happy with spending time by myself, with my closest family, and occasionally with good friends. I like it this way. :)
Glad you are taking the time to read this week!Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12015144905964485090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983812566505409103.post-87089408555902647052015-09-11T07:37:30.864-07:002015-09-11T07:37:30.864-07:00Julie- I am the same way with audio books. I listen to them occasionally but I do find that I will start thinking about something else and then remember what I am listening to and have to start the part over. Right now I am listening to Da Vinci code in the car when I am out driving around without the kids and I have found that I have done that a few times.
Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12015144905964485090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983812566505409103.post-60063440753005569872015-09-10T10:23:36.509-07:002015-09-10T10:23:36.509-07:00I feel the same way about small talk and crowds. I...I feel the same way about small talk and crowds. I'm almost always much happier alone. I've been wanting to read this book for a long time. I've heard really good things about it. I've been reading "A Greater Tomorrow" by Julie Rowe (about her near-death experience and visit to the spirit world) and I've been taking special time to read it since Tuesday. I love doing that!Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10352909161587824227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5983812566505409103.post-28125480623439367922015-09-09T21:25:06.533-07:002015-09-09T21:25:06.533-07:00I am reading nothing, because I have to get a bask...I am reading nothing, because I have to get a basket of stuff ready for a silent auction so I have been crocheting all weekend and into this week. maybe I should have listened to a book on tape...but I have tried that once and wasn't a fan. I kept tuning out. I have to see the words. That's the best part of reading. Sorry your day went wonky. Of course the phone died on that day. Darn Murphy's Law. Bummer about a sick kiddo, but it does give you a nice quiet day to complete your goal.

As for small talk, I agree and yet I talk incessantly in a group because I feel more uncomfortable about having nothing to say. Dang social anxiety! Seth and Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01787702258212182217noreply@blogger.com
